ART FILM 2025 Festival Announces Jury for the International Competition of Central and Eastern European Films

The ART FILM 2025 Festival unveils the jury for its International Competition of Central and Eastern European Films, a section that reflects the region’s artistic depth and diversity. Three renowned professionals from France, Sweden, and Ukraine bring their extensive expertise and unique perspectives to the evaluation of this year’s cinematic entries.

André Raphaël Ivanov: A Bridge Between Cultures

André Raphaël Ivanov

Kazakh-born producer and international talent agent based in France, André Raphaël Ivanov is the founder and artistic director of the Kazakh Film Festival in Paris. A seasoned jury member at prestigious festivals including the Venice Film Festival and NETPAC, he is dedicated to fostering intercultural dialogue through cinema.

Anders E Larsson: Multimedia Critic and Artist

Swedish film and theatre critic, writer, musician, and poet Anders E Larsson is the editor-in-chief of Kontradiktion.fi, a magazine focusing on digital and experimental poetry. Former director of the Lund Fantastic Film Festival and editor-in-chief of the Stockholm Film Festival, he brings in-depth knowledge of genre and independent cinema to the jury.

Elena Rubashevska: The Voice of Documentary Film

Elena Rubashevska

Ukrainian director, journalist, and film critic Elena Rubashevska is FIPRESCI vice president and communication officer. Her work focuses on projects related to Eastern Ukraine and documentaries with a strong visual narrative.

The jury of the International Competition of Central and Eastern European Films thus represents an exceptional blend of expertise and artistic vision, poised to help discover emerging film talents from the region.
