As always, the 26th edition of Art Film Fest Košice will feature two competition sections, closely watched at home and abroad, whose winners will receive Blue Angel Awards.
- The International Competition of Feature Films is open to works which were completed on or after 1 January 2017, are at least 60 minutes in duration, and are their director’s first, second or third feature film.Films can be submitted to this category until 31 March 2018. The final selection of films for the competition is made by the festival’s programme director, Peter Nagel.
- The International Competition of Short Films is open to works which were completed on or after 1 January 2017, are up to 30 minutes in duration, and can be classified as fiction, documentary, experimental or animated short films.The deadline for submissions to this category is 15 March 2018. The final selection of films will be made by a two-member committee.
The festival organizers will only accept online submissions via the application form on the festival website.
