After a two-year break, the oldest and largest Slovak film festival returns to the capital of eastern Slovakia. Due to the extremely difficult economic situation in the field of culture, the organisers made the decision to hold the event only at the end of February.
Film fans can once again look forward to more than 130 screenings of feature and short films, which will be screened in at least six different cinemas in Košice. The programme will include two competition sections – the Blue Angel International Feature Film Competition and the International Short Film Competition, as well as the ceremonies popular with the audience and the media – the Actor’s Mission and the Golden Camera award ceremonies. Further programme sections will be announced during April.
A special tribute will be dedicated to the memory of Art Film Fest’s only president, Milan Lasica.
