Once again, Art Film Fest will include an unconventional screening space \u2013 the Tatra Banka Tented Cinema, located in Tren\u010dianske Teplice\u2019s Park. Over the course of the festival, as many as forty films will be screened there. Already on the first day of the festival, an adaptation of a classic of world literature awaits audiences \u2013 Volker Schl\u00f6ndorff\u2019s Swann in Love, based on the first volume of Proust\u2019s In Search of Lost Time. This sensual romantic drama will be personally presented by its star, the popular British actor Jeremy Irons. Art Film Fest\u2019s organizers have also expanded the festival program to include Stanley Kubrick\u2019s 1980 cult horror film The Shining<\/i>, which is among the best in its genre and has yet to be shown in Slovak cinemas. Kubrick\u2019s horror film, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, will be presented by its producer, Jan Harlan, at the Tatra Banka Cinema on 22 June. Another surely interesting addition to the Tatra Banka Cinema\u2019s programme will be a screening of the Czechoslovak war drama Coach to Vienna<\/i>, from director Karel Kachy\u0148a. The film\u2019s screenplay was written by Karel Kachy\u0148a in cooperation with Jan Proch\u00e1zka, based on the book of the same name. The film, whose plot is played out in South Moravia immediately after the end of the Second World War, was long banned.
